Formed as a small community group in 2008, Shine has developed and became a CIO in 2014 and now employs 1 fulltime and 2 part time staff assisted by 20 volunteers.

Operating from St Stephen's Church in West Bowling it seeks to enhance the wellbeing of the community of West Bowling, working holistically to help transform lives through long term relational work.

Open for 40 hours a week it helps people to address problems such as debt, addictions, poor health, parenting skills and isolation. A varied schedule of events and activities are also offered to specific target groups.
