Step 2 Young People's Health Project
Working across South Bradford for 22 years, supporting young people in relation to health through education, support and provision of services; the project employs 3 full time and 10 part time employees alongside 2 volunteers.
Services are offered via drop in centres, in local youth clubs, on an outreach bus, in health centres and in schools.
Young people are encouraged to engage in positive activities, gaining skills and forming relationships. Information is given on health related issues such as drugs, alcohol, smoking and sexual health. Regular cook and eat sessions are also held demonstrating how to prepare healthy food.
In total around 1000 people utilise the services of the project throughout the year.
